Biography

Hunter Capellán is very excited to be a part of Gypsy at Majestic Theater. His latest work was at the 97th Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade in The Deliciously Delectable World of Wonka skit. Hunter studies dance at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, and he loves being a 7th grader at Achievement First Bushwick Middle School. Hunter’s most enjoyable subject is history and favorite dance styles are Tap and Hip-Hop. He is motivated and inspired by his older sister, Jayla, who is training to dance professionally. When he’s not dancing or in school Hunter enjoys playing basketball and running track. Hunter’s goal is to continually develop his technique, refine his artistry and bring his unique talent to both stages and screens with hopes of inspiring other young kids along the way.

Sasha Hutchings is an actress, teaching artist, and creative producer. She appears as “Cowgirl” on WARRIORS, the new concept album from Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis. She played Laurey Williams in the Daniel Fish directed revival of Oklahoma! on Broadway and the National Tour. Sasha is an original cast member of Hamilton and featured in the Disney+ Hamilton Film. Additional Broadway: My Fair Lady, Rocky, Motown, and Memphis. Sasha stars as Hope on Run The World (STARZ). Additional TV: Elsbeth (CBS) Demascus (SXSW premiere), Fosse/Verdon, Blue Bloods, and SMASH. Sasha collaborates with public school theatre programs including Epic Theatre Ensemble and The Arthur Miller Foundation. She is represented by Innovative Artists and The Boothe Group.

Zachary Daniel Jones

Zachary Daniel Jones can currently be seen twirling around the Ozdust Ballroom in Wicked. Zach made his Broadway debut in 2017 as Mungojerrie in the Broadway revival of Cats. Other New York credits include Beetlejuice (OBC) and the world premiere of Black No More off-Broadway. Originally from the west suburbs of Chicago, Zach earned his BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory and has appeared in a dozen productions regionally (The Muny, TUTS). Zach currently resides in Brooklyn with his partner, Jesse and their two precious Jellicles, Mookie and Cha Cha. Gypsy will be his 4th Broadway show, and he is deeply honored and excited to “entertain” you!
