The Outsiders

Brody Grant is a New York based multi-hyphenate artist making his Broadway debut in The Outsiders. Selected work includes Parade (New York City Center) and The Outsiders (La Jolla). Brody is also an independent recording artist, and his music can be found on his IG handle @brody_grant.

Joshua Boone can currently be seen starring as the lead of Netflix’s A Jazzman’s Blues, written, directed, and produced by Tyler Perry, which premiered worldwide at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film garnered Boone two 2023 NAACP Image Award nominations for Outstanding Actor in A Motion Picture and Outstanding Breakthrough Performance in a Motion Picture. Boone recently wrapped filming on Fleeing, starring opposite André Holland, Nicole Beharie, and DeWanda Wise, and it was recently announced that he will soon begin production on the Morgan Freeman-produced feature film, Last Meals, starring opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Boyd Holdbrook, and David Strathairn. He previously starred in Premature for director Rashaad Ernesto Green opposite Zora Howard and can also be seen in indie release Wheels for writer/director Paul Starkman. In 2018, he completed a guest star role on Seven Seconds for Netflix. Boone was recently seen on stage at MTC in Dominique Morisseau’s Tony-nominated Broadway production of Skeleton Crew, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award, starring opposite Phylicia Rashad and Chanté Adams for Tony-winning actor/director Ruben Santiago-Hudson. Boone starred on stage at MCC in All The Natalie Portmans after previously starring in Ivo van Hove’s highly acclaimed Broadway production of Network opposite Bryan Cranston. Additional stage credits include Artney Jackson (Williamstown), Actually (MTC, Williamstown), Mother Courage and Her Children (Classic Stage Company), and Holler If Ya Hear Me (Broadway).

Jason Schmidt is making his Broadway debut with The Outsiders. TV: “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies”, “FBI: Most Wanted”, “The Chair”. Regional Theater: Cinderella (Theater Under the Stars), The Outsiders (La Jolla Playhouse). Jason is a singer/songwriter who releases music on all platforms. He studied at Carnegie Mellon. He would like to thank his ever supportive family, friends, and his gritty team at DGRW and Green Management. Glory to God.

Mississippi native, Wagner College graduate, and winner of “The Search For Roxie”. Broadway: Chicago (Roxie & Annie), Back to the Future OBC (Ensemble) Regional: The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet), Damn Yankees (Lola). Emma is also a teaching artist, director, and choreographer. Her choreography credits include: On the Twentieth Century, Into the Woods, and The Cradle Will Rock. Daryl Tofa is excited to be making his OBC principal debut in his second Broadway show of the season, The Outsiders. Broadway: Back to the Future (Marty McFly u/s), Mean Girls (Kevin G u/s). Kevin William Paul (Bob), a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, marks his Broadway debut with The Outsiders. Dan Berry is thrilled to be making his Broadway debut! Elvis: A Musical Revolution (North Shore Music Theater).
