About the Show

Transporting audiences to the lavish Roaring Twenties, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless story follows eccentric and mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby, who will stop at nothing in the pursuit of the lost love of his youth, Daisy Buchanan. Through its fascinatingly nuanced characters, driven by complex inner lives erupting with extravagance and longing – this epic tale has always been destined to sing. Now, it finally comes to life on the greatest American stage, through an electrifying jazz and pop-infused score, and a grand production befitting the 21st century.

McCartan is known for playing Jason "J.D." Dean in the original Off-Broadway cast of Heathers: The Musical. His Broadway credits include playing Fiyero Tigelaar in the 15th anniversary cast of Wicked and Prince Hans in the closing cast of Frozen. In January 2025, he is set to take over the title role in The Great Gatsby on Broadway.

Jeremy Jordan is currently starring in the title role of The Great Gatsby on Broadway. He's best-known for his Tony and Grammy-nominated portrayal of Jack Kelly in Newsies. Additional Broadway: Bonnie & Clyde (Theatre World Award), West Side Story, Waitress, American Son, Rock of Ages. Recently, he starred as Seymour in the acclaimed Little Shop of Horrors. TV: “Supergirl,” “Smash,” “Hazbin Hotel,” “Tangled.” Film: Spinning Gold, The Last 5 Years, Joyful Noise, American Son, Newsies. Jeremy's solo concerts and cabaret shows have won raves and awards worldwide, and he’s the lead singer of the band, Age of Madness.

Sarah Hyland was born in New York City to actors Melissa D. Canaday and Edward James Hyland. She began in the business at the age of 4 with commercial work and voice overs. Her first film was Private Parts (1997). She then moved on to The Object of My Affection (1998) and then spent time on Another World (1964) as "Rain Wolfe", a child found in the park, and fostered by Josie and Gary. Sarah would go on to work with Amy Carlson ("Josie" on AW) several more times: Falcone (2000), Law & Order (1990) and Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was cast as one of the young "Audrey Hepburns" in Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Audrey Hepburn Story (2000) the same year she was cast as "Molly" in ABC's Annie (1999) starring Kathy Bates, Audra McDonald, Alan Cumming, Victor Garber and Kristin Chenoweth, Joe Gould's Secret (2000) and Falcone (2000). Aside from all of her film and television work, Sarah studied voice, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, Theatre Dance, and performed with her tap and Theatre dance class at "Reel to Real" at Lincoln Center as invited performers.4

Eva Noblezada won a Grammy and was nominated for a Tony for starring in Hadestown. It was Eva’s second Tony nomination in her first two Broadway roles, following her nomination for the title role of Miss Saigon. Earlier, she starred as Eponine in Les Misérables on London’s West End. In film, she played the lead in Sony Pictures’ acclaimed Yellow Rose; was featured in Amblin’s Easter Sunday; and starred for Skydance Animation and AppleTV+ in Luck.

Tanairi Sade Vazquez is a multi-talented actress, dancer and singer whose vibrant performances have captivated audiences across television, film and Broadway. Her theatrical journey has seen her perform in acclaimed productions such as The Great Gatsby, Hamilton, On Your Feet, Gigi, Wonderland and West Side Story Revival 2009. In the realm of television, Tanairi has showcased her talent most recently in The Equalizer, Season 5. Her first big shot was a recurring role as Annie Valdez in Orange Is the New Black. She can also be seen in Let the Right One In (Showtime), A Luv Tale (BET Plus), Law and Order SVU (NBC), The Blacklist (NBC), The Deuce (MAX), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon Prime), Fosse/Verdon (FX), and NBC’s Smash. Tanairi has also made her mark in film, appearing in Steven Spielberg’s remake of West Side Story as a featured shark girl, Charita. Most recently, Tanairi starred in Nochebuena as Jennifer, which had its world premiere at the NYLFF and is now available on Prime Video. Tanairi won the Best Featured Actress award at the Georgia Latino Film Festival for her leading role performance as Jennifer in Nochebuena.
