Last summer, Safiya was in theensemble and under-studied “Ophelia”in Hamlet, Shakespeare in the Park. She also performed the role of “Viola” in Twelfth Night (Santa Cruz Shakespeare), “Rosalind” in As You Like It (Shakespeare Theater of NJ), “Sally Bowles” in Cabaret, “Bunny” in Detroit ‘67, “Marisol” in Marisol and many more.
