Biography
Jace Bently made his Broadway Debut as Lil Marlon last year in the hit show, “MJ The Musical.” At just 11 years old, he has appeared in the “Power” spin-off: “Raising Kanan”, ABC series “For Life”, Hallmark Channel movie, Redemption In Cherry Springs” and several voiceovers! Not to mention performing at the legendary Apollo Theater, 54 Below and all over as a pianist. Thanks to Take 3 Talent, Rebel Creative Group and his amazing family for always believing in him.

Brittney Johnson

What a joy to be back on Broadway! Brittney made Broadway history by becoming the first Black woman to play the role of “Glinda” in Wicked. She is an ambassador for the (RED) organization and a voiceover and commercial artist. In 2023, she was the face of Prudential and Playbill’s “Stages on Broadway” nationwide contest. Zachary Daniel Jones

Zachary Daniel Jones can currently be seen twirling around the Ozdust Ballroom in Wicked. Zach made his Broadway debut in 2017 as Mungojerrie in the Broadway revival of Cats. Other New York credits include Beetlejuice (OBC) and the world premiere of Black No More off-Broadway. Originally from the west suburbs of Chicago, Zach earned his BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory and has appeared in a dozen productions regionally (The Muny, TUTS). Zach currently resides in Brooklyn with his partner, Jesse and their two precious Jellicles, Mookie and Cha Cha. Gypsy will be his 4th Broadway show, and he is deeply honored and excited to “entertain” you!

Audra McDonald

Audra McDonald is unparalleled in the breadth and versatility of her artistry as both a singer and an actor. The winner of a record-breaking six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards and an Emmy, in 2015 she was named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people and received the National Medal of Arts—America’s highest honor for achievement in the field—from President Barack Obama. In addition to her Tony-winning performances in Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime, A Raisin in the Sun, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess and Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill—the role that also served as the vehicle for her Olivier Award-nominated 2017 debut in London’s West End—she has appeared on Broadway in The Secret Garden; Marie Christine (Tony nomination); Henry IV; 110 in the Shade (Tony nomination); Shuffle Along, or, The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed; Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune (Tony nomination); and Ohio State Murders (Tony nomination). On television, she was seen by millions as the Mother Abbess in NBC’s The Sound of Music Live!, won an Emmy Award for her role as host of PBS’s Live From Lincoln Center, and received Emmy nominations for Wit, A Raisin in the Sun and Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill. She is a founding member of Black Theatre United, board member of Covenant House International, and prominent advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, whose favorite roles are those performed offstage, as an activist, wife to actor Will Swenson, and mother.

Kevin Csolak starred as Diesel in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story. He originated the role of A-Rab in Ivo Van Hove’s West Side Story Broadway, performed in original Broadway casts of Mean Girls and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Recently starred in the Tony Award-winning The Outsiders. World Premieres: Mean Girls, The Prom, PAC’s Watch Night (The Wolf), Cirque Du Soleil’s Wintuk (Jamie).
