Biography

(he/him) Broadway debut! Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, Drew is a Brooklyn-based, proud alum of North Carolina A&T State University and the British American Drama Academy. He recently starred as King Louis in The Three Musketeersand Collins in Rent at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Select credits include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (North Shore), Omari in Pipeline (American Stage), Taylor in Prelude to a Kiss (World Premiere, Milwaukee Rep), and Eddie in Sister Act (New Stage, Derby Dinner). He currently stars as Jamal in the web series FortheBoys, available on YouTube. Shout out to Hudson Artists Agency, Tara Rubin Casting and his incredible family, mentors, and community who unwaveringly hold him up. Thank you, God!

Born in New York City, Anthony Santos began his training in dance, acting, and singing at Rosie’s Theatre Kids under the direction of Lori Klinger, where he studied from 2005 to 2013. During this time, he also trained at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater from 2009 to 2013. His summer intensives included Joffrey Ballet, Jacob’s Pillow, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet, all on full merit scholarships. Anthony graduated with a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of Susan Jaffe. He joined the Dance Theatre of Harlem in 2017, dancing under the direction of Virginia Johnson until 2022. While with the company, he also performed as a guest artist with New York City Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Following his time at Dance Theatre of Harlem, Anthony toured with the company of Hamilton: The Musical from 2022 to 2023. Most recently, he joined the touring company of Wicked from 2023 to 2024. He performed as a backup dancer for Jennifer Hudson in the Macy’s 2024 Thanksgiving Day Parade, under the choreography of Ebony Williams

ILDA MASON (Ensemble) was born and raised in Panamá where she began her acting career with productions such as Peter Pan (Peter Pan), The Beauty and the Beast, A Chorus Line (Bebe) and Hello Dolly (Minnie) among others. She was a professional dancer on Panamá’s “Dancing with the Stars” (Season 2 Champion). She made her feature film debut in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story (Luz) and her Broadway debut with the same show, directed by Ivo Van Hove. TV/Film credits include appearances in “The Equalizer” (CBS) and the upcoming feature musical film Kiss of the Spider Woman. Some of her favorite theater credits are Evita (A.R.T., Shakespeare Theater Company), Come Fall in Love (The Old Globe Theater), On Your Feet! (National tour), West Side Story (Paper Mill Playhouse, Signature Theatre), Cinderella (National tour), and Legally Blonde (China tour). She’s filled with gratitude for the opportunity of telling stories on stage and onscreen, especially Latine ones like BVSC.

Wesley Wray

Wesley Wray (Young Ibrahim) Broadway debut! BFA Musical Theatre student at the University of Michigan (class of ‘26) and proud native of Miami, Florida. Wesley is a member of the Peter London Global Dance Company, celebrated for its distinctive Afro-Caribbean movement style. Wesley’s extensive training includes studying at the Alvin Ailey School, where he honed his skills in Martha Graham, Lester Horton, and ballet techniques. He further developed his classical acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he not only performed as Amiens and Silvius in Shakespeare’s As You Like It, but also composed the music for the production. While attending Michigan, Wesley has been seen in A Chorus Line (Mike Costa), Guys and Dolls (Harry the Horse), and most recently in Shaina Taub’s Twelfth Night (Duke Orsino). His most notable film credit includes working as a stand-in for Little in the Oscar-winning film Moonlight. Wesley is thrilled to make his Broadway debut, originating a role in such a beautiful, culturally enriching production. He is deeply grateful to his community for supporting him in reaching this dream.

SOPHIA RAMOS (U/S Omara) Born in the Bronx, New York, Sophia cut her teeth as a member of the NYC hard rock band Sophia’s Toy who were signed to Sony/Epic Records. Sophia was soon named “Best Undiscovered Artist” by VH1 and was awarded the Abe Olman Excellence in Songwriting scholarship from The National Academy of Popular Music. She has collaborated with the likes of Metallica’s Jason Newstead, Psychotica, and Joey Ramone, and performed as a vocalist with an incredible variety of artists, including Rod Stewart, Gov’t Mule, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Jefferson Starship. Sophia is a veteran live and studio vocalist and voiceover artist. Her talents in both English and Spanish have been employed in countless commercials and jingles. Some of her theater work includes Robert Schenkkan’s musical The Twelve at Signature Theater, Arizona Theater Company’s production of Love, Janis, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and The Public Theater in New York City, in the ensemble cast of Party People created/produced by UNIVERSES and directed by Liesl Tommy. She went on to work with Liesl Tommy in Shakespeare Theatre Company’s production of Macbeth (2017), Huntington Theater production of Top Girls (2018). Martín Solá

Martín Solá

Martín Solá is a versatile actor, singer, and teacher based in New York City. His Broadway credits include How to Dance in Ohio, On Your Feet, The King and I, Coram Boy, and Baz Luhrmann’sLa Bohème. He has also established a strong connection at The Public Theater, appearing in Suzan-Lori Parks’ Plays for the Plague Year, Miss You Like Hell, Giant, Pirates of Penzance, and he was a member of the prestigious Shakespeare Lab. In addition to his Broadway and Off-Broadway work, Martín has been featured with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and has performed in numerous productions with New York City Opera and City Center Encores. Recently, Martín turned his interests to on-camera work, appearing as Father Russo in the NETFLIX series Archive 81, and guest-starring on FBI (CBS) and Law and Order SVU (NBC). During the pandemic, he wrote, directed, and starred in his first short film, May I Take It Your Plate, which earned Best Short Film and Best Actor awards at both the International Puerto Rican Heritage and the New York City Downtown Film Festivals. With over 30 years of experience, Martín has taught singing and coached actors for auditions, with many of his students performing on Broadway and in theaters across the country. He has taught at Yale University, Lafayette College, and the Institute for American Musical Theater.
